“Interlude” Read for Cast of Wonders Podcast

My latest short story, “Interlude,” has arrived in the Halloween episode of the Cast of Wonders podcast. Read by Alex Hofelich, this is one of my odder (and shorter) tales, about a father who watches, helpless, as his son begins a transformation that he doesn't understand. But there's something in the woods across the street from their home, something that calls to the boy and threatens to keep him. It’s a weird tale of acceptance, loss, and learning to let go, and I’m thrilled to be able to share it with the world.

In addition to listening to this story, which you can do on their website or on your favorite podcast app, you can also read it for free! It’s accompanied by another great tale, “As I Wait for the Killing Blow” by M. Shaw, so be sure to check out the full episode.
